At our school, we believe that writing is at the heart of learning and provides children with the opportunity to share their ideas, experiences and creativity with others. From their very first mark-making experiences to crafting detailed stories, reports and persuasive texts, children are encouraged to develop confidence and pride in their writing. Through high-quality texts, engaging learning experiences and purposeful opportunities to write across the curriculum, pupils learn to write with accuracy, imagination and independence. We celebrate every child and support them in becoming enthusiastic, resilient authors who are equipped with the skills they need for future success.
